Kochan & Co. unveils ‘world’s largest coupon’ billboard

The coupon stretches 44 feet across and 10 feet tall and can be seen on a billboard on the north side of Highway 40, a half-mile east of Kingshighway Boulevard.
The firm said it was inspired to create the billboard advertisement because coupons are growing more popular among budget-conscious shoppers wanting to save money during the recession.
Billboards along that section of Highway 40 usually cost about $3,000 a month, said Bob Kochan, founder, president and chief executive of Kochan.
“We wanted to do some out-of-the-box marketing,” he said.
Kochan & Co. is a marketing communications firm based in Soulard. The firm’s local clients include Delta Dental of Missouri, Raging Rivers WaterPark, Argosy Casino - Alton and the Pasta House Co.
